Holy Smoke BBQ re-branding to Barrel and Boar: Simplifying the color palette and blacking out the ceiling, adding natural elements like reclaimed wood and copper as well as adding warm lighting over the bar create an overall warm and inviting feeling to the space.
Master bedroom re-design: Changing the location of the bed allows for an open entrance into the space, making room for a large sitting area. The space becomes visually larger, even with the addition of a couch! The custom shelf, vintage side tables and coffee table and repurposed dresser bring warmth and personality to the space. The color palette is simplified by the addition of warm whites throughout.
Farmhouse den re-design: The large built-in closet and expansive bay window are painted to match the other finishes in the space, visually expanding the room. Our clients wanted to retain their Southwestern entertainment piece moved from their Texas home. We used wall color backing inside the shelving to lighten the heaviness of this gorgeous custom piece and to better showcase the photos and collectables that help to tell the story of this family. Curtains and a large fig tree soften the otherwise masculine feel. Removing the large wooden bar cabinet made way for an additional seating area. Now the whole family can comfortably watch television or read while enjoying the stellar view. Retaining most of the existing furniture and adding chairs with modern lines keep the space open and light. Warm lighting, a soft light rug and fabric accents create a cohesive design that emulates comfort and relaxation.
